Break the gravity of normality! Join our 8bit\chiptune hoodlum on 9th of March 2012! The launch of new chiptune events with a mission to encourage the chiptune scene riot! To have fun, entertain, and inspire.

I must say I’ve never been to a proper chiptune party so so far only managing to arrange it myself. Then following previous ArtKitchen’s avantgarde chiptune\electro\grunge events in Tallinn and according to my little research (the chiptune scene is not too active here in London although there are lots of artists willing to perform and play this kind of music and there is quite active chiptine scene across the UK but not too much in London) there is inspiration to make some noise in the scene and attract “hidden” talents and creative youth to collaborate and keep the thing growing.  Being a newbie and settling down in different areas of this noisy city =)) I finally felt I’m surrounded with fair amount of friends and some amazing people ready to collaboate on that. So it’s decided to launch the regular night of chiptunes and experimental adventures which includes a new media art as well. Well, as well as a space for more good “mainstream” (indie:-)) electro dance and punk disco ;)

Targetting what is called sub-culture scene, we wish to inspire, be inspired and perhaps be a part of growing cultural shift and of course to give any other creative a slot for performing… So the idea for launch the chiptune\electro night was born. The title is kind of cheeky and bit ironic which I recon reflects the movement and keeps it a little bit as a secret and anarchystic view on things we like. Ha!

Consequently if you are reading this and wish to expose your art, share some ideas please get in touch. We are looking for artists, designers, collaborators, venues, ideas, performers, dancers, geeks any links and information you can share or just wanna chat, don’t hesitate write an email or message (see “Links”).

And I must also say due to the very SATURATED programme its gonna be a real sweaty one so it’s kind of underwear party ! ;))) And come early 20:00-01:00 sharp!
